Harlemesque

Our Haremesque home pays special homage to our parents and ancestral homeland. We come from places on this planet that have experienced seismic geopolitical events, shaping us and the lands we originate from. We were born of movement and migration. Our parents sacrificed everything, all they knew, their cultural homes, families and support systems when migrating to America and the UK . They navigated new cultures on their own with incredible strength and resilience, endured every challenge and obstacle that came their way and dedicated their lives to us and our well-being. Our parents were our first home and safe space.

We come from lands that carry a rich history of colonization, displacement, resistance, innovation, and ultimately transformation. Our passion for creating a wellness movement and home comes from our very own story of seeking healing and growth. We are supported by a lineage that gives us the strength and vision to dedicate our lives to the empowerment of self and others. Thank you Drawshan, Zhir, Souad and Abdullahi. Thank you Sudan.
